Bob and Laurel Wilson are joined by Helen Rowe on fiddle and vocal. Expect an eclectic mix of original songs and well-known folk tunes, with the occasional foray into acapella singing. If you’ve not heard us, here’s a live version of Bob’s song, Big Country Town.
The venue is New Farm Bowls Club, starting at 7.15pm with blackboard spots then two booked guests. We are on first, followed by Brisbane band, Zenekar
This Brisbane-based musical group is known for blending global folk (Eastern European, Gypsy Jazz, Brazilian Choro) with jazz improvisation.
